TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

 

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY

 

 

Conditions of enrolment:

A student membership fee is due per annum upon enrolment for any course and is non refundable. The Alliance Française reserves the right to divide, combine or cancel any class, should it be deemed necessary.

 

Fees:

-          Classes: fees are due at the beginning of the term. You will be charged 10% more if you have not paid within the first five weeks.

-          Fees for private lessons are due before the start of the lesson.

 

Credits:

Under exceptional circumstances, credits may be considered.

 

-          Credits will only be given for urgent medical and family reasons or if you are being sent away for work (certificates may be required).

-          Credits will only be issued if we have been informed beforehand in writing and will be valid for the term specified on the letter of credit.

-          Classes paid for with a credit note cannot be re-credited.

 

 

Withdrawal/ Cancellation policy:

 

-          If you wish to withdraw, please inform us in writing more than a week before the course is due to start. You will then receive a refund less 10% administration charge.

-          If you wish to withdraw during the week the course begins, you will be entitled to a 50% refund.

-          The Alliance Française applies a strict no refund policy for any student who withdraws on the first day of the course or after the commencement of a course.

-          For Private lessons, the Alliance Française applies a strict no refund policy for any students who withdraws on the day of the class, any withdrawals have to be made at least 24 hours beforehand.

-          If a course does not reach a minimum number of 5 students or is for some other unavoidable reason cancelled by the Alliance, the fee will be refunded in full.
