Francophonie Month
What is the month of Francophonie ?
The Month of Francophonie is celebrated annually throughout March in many countries around the world to promote the French
language and Francophone cultural diversity.
It's an opportunity to celebrate shared Francophone values such as solidarity, democracy, human rights, peace, and sustainable development.
Did you know ?
The Francophonie flag represents the colors of the 5 continents:
blue for Europe, yellow for Asia, black for Africa, green for Oceania, and red for North/South America.
French is spoken by over 300 million Francophones (aka French speakers) all over the world on 5 continents.
This linguistic community continues to grow, contributing to the rich tapestry of cultures and languages around the globe.
How the Alliance Française Auckland celebrate this ?
The Alliance Française Auckland is actively participating in the Month of Francophonie by organizing various activities.
So why not join in on the celebration and take advantage of all the wonderful events happening during the Francophonie Month? Whether you're
interested in expanding your language skills, immersing yourself in a new culture, or simply having fun and making new friends, there's
something for everyone to enjoy.
